Beyond Amazing was founded by someone who has lived what they now coach — the pressures, the pivots, and the moments that change how you see what matters.

Peter Gladdish spent more than twenty years building businesses from the ground up. Starting with a tax consultancy that began with 2 clients and a clear purpose, he grew it over two decades to a practice with a 7 figure annual turnover — navigating the full range of challenges that come with building, leading, and sustaining a professional services firm.
In 2025, a near-fatal heart attack stopped everything. The kind of moment that has a way of sharpening your thinking about what matters and what doesn’t. What came out of that period wasn’t a pivot away from business — it was a deeper clarity about where the real work of leadership actually happens.
Beyond Amazing was founded to help leaders close the gap that Peter had seen throughout his career and in his own leadership: the gap between knowing what good looks like and actually doing it, consistently, under pressure, day after day.
It’s not a consultancy built on frameworks learned in a classroom. It’s built on the experience of someone who has run teams, made hard decisions, survived setbacks, and come out the other side with both the wisdom and the tools to help others do the same.
“The gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it – under pressure – is where most leadership challenges live”
– Peter Gladdish
— Maya Angelou
There is no programme, no course, no off-the-shelf solution that fits every leader or every organisation. What works in one culture, one structure, one moment in time, may be entirely wrong for another. We don’t believe in selling the same thing to everyone.
Every engagement begins with a proper diagnosis — understanding your specific context, culture, and constraints. The response we build is designed around what you actually need, not what we happen to offer.
The Maya Angelou quote captures something important: good intentions, good frameworks, and good conversations are only the beginning. Sustained change requires consistent effort — from both client and coach. We hold each other accountable.
Culture, history, power dynamics, team relationships — they all shape what’s possible. We take the time to understand your organisation before we offer any perspective on how to improve it.
A diagnostic is a no-obligation conversation to understand where things are and whether we're the right fit to help.
